Grey Partridge

The grey partridge was introduced to Quebec around 1940 and has colonized the open agricultural areas of the St-Lawrence plain. It is often seen outside the nesting period in groups of 5 to 25 individuals. It feeds on grasses, seeds, corn, cereals, clovers and other herbaceous plants.
