Collection
Adults are around 44 cm long, with blue backs and wings, a hazel neck with white lines running down from the chin, and a black cape. The legs are yellow-orange and the beak black with yellow lores and upper mandible. Immatures are duller, with brown and white stretch marks on the sides of the head, neck and underside, and greenish-yellow legs.
